Our school welcomes the first batch of returned students in spring semester
When the grass grows and the warbler flies, the students return. After the longest winter vacation in history, our students finally returned to the long lost campus and "restarted" the campus life of the new semester. On April 21, Xianlin and Suiyuan campuses of our university welcomed the first batch of returned students in spring semester.
In order to do a good job in the work of students returning to school in spring semester, the school has set up a headquarters for students returning to school. Each department and college is responsible for assisting and cooperating. The whole school is responsible for its own responsibilities, joint prevention and control, and working together to promote the work of students returning to school.
In order to ensure the rapid admission of students, the Xianlin and Suiyuan campuses open 8 school gates at the same time, set up multiple channels to handle the admission procedures, and allocate the admission gate and time in advance according to the distance of students' dormitories. Each check-in area is organized by a school leader with a set of working team to measure temperature and check code. The student working group, logistics support and emergency response group and transportation support group composed of relevant functional departments cooperate with each other to do a good job.
On the morning of April 21, the campus was quiet and warm. In each check-in area, the school leaders gave overall guidance on the spot, the traffic police kept the traffic order, and the security guards and the staff members and volunteers kept busy. The returning students are warmly welcomed by the school leaders and teachers who have been waiting at the school gate. Under the guidance of the teachers, the students opened their distance and waited orderly to enter the campus. Temperature measurement, scan the "campus today" QR code, verify the newly generated "sukang code" on site, and enter the campus smoothly after each link is qualified.
In order to better welcome students back to school, the faculty members of the institutions and colleges actively signed up for volunteer service. The front-line reception work of 8 check-in points of the school is undertaken by the volunteers of teaching staff members. Many professors and doctoral supervisors have joined the volunteer team to receive students, which is touching. Under the guidance of counselors, some student volunteers work together to help returning students to do a good job in luggage transfer, apartment check-in and other services. Every link that the returning students must go through from entering the school to the dormitory is seamlessly connected and carried out in an orderly manner according to the procedures that the school has practiced many times.
According to the arrangement of off peak registration, as of 20:00 p.m., a total of 4724 people (including 3088 undergraduates and 1636 postgraduates) had registered for the University.
