The Political Bureau of the COMMUNIST Party of China (CPC) Central Committee held a group study session on Jan. 24 on efforts to achieve carbon neutrality at peak levels. The meeting stressed that achieving the "dual carbon" goal is a broad and profound change that will not be easily achieved. The meeting pointed out that promoting the development of new and clean energy should be given greater priority, and the development of photovoltaic energy, silicon energy, hydrogen energy and renewable energy should be actively and orderly. We will further integrate energy technology with modern information, new materials and advanced manufacturing technologies, and explore new models of energy production and consumption.
