In the process of academic research, graduate students inevitably need to read a lot of English literature, need to go abroad for study or further study, and need to attend international academic conferences. However, the existing general English courses in graduate education have been unable to meet the professional training needs of increasingly international academic exchanges. Since 2016, Nanjing Normal University has started the public English Teaching Reform for Postgraduates Based on the improvement of international chemistry ability, and has set up a team of teachers who have been engaged in the English teaching practice for Non-English Major Postgraduates for a long time and directly participated in the teaching reform, earnestly summarized the teaching experience in this round of teaching reform, read a large number of advanced academic English works at home and abroad, and compiled this set of postgraduates There are four academic English textbooks.
