This journal is the first Chinese language and literature professional journal approved for public release by the second level College of University in China. It was founded in 1999 and revised in 2002. It is a 16 page international standard with 188 pages and a publishing capacity of 300000 words. This journal has a editorial board composed of experts and professors. The editorial system is standardized, the review and compilation are strict, the academic level is used to decide the choice, and all contributions are treated fairly and fairly.
Based on the research field of Chinese language and literature, the journal focuses on the academic issues of Chinese language and literature, language, literature, drama, film and television and other disciplines, captures the cutting-edge academic topics, and advocates the innovative and realistic style of study. The journal has columns of ancient literature, modern and contemporary literature, comparative literature, literary theory, film and television drama, linguistics, classical philology, etc. it vigorously promotes scientific, original and practical academic papers with new ideas, discoveries, perspectives and methods. Journal of Literature College of Nanjing Normal University was selected as the source journal of CSSCI in 2012 and the important reprint source journal of "copy newspaper materials" of Renmin University of China in 2012. Now it is the core journal of Peking University, the source journal of CSSCI index (CSSCI Extended Edition), "2018 China Humanities and Social Sciences issue" Journal of AMI comprehensive evaluation "a expanded journal.
In order to further improve the quality and social influence of the journal and attract more excellent scholars at home and abroad with high-quality contributions, this journal makes the following explanation on the contribution matters at the request of the majority of authors and readers.
1. Based on the theoretical frontier of humanities, the journal strives to show the latest research results of Chinese language and literature. Welcome papers with a length of about 8000-15000 words.
2. For the writing format of notes, citation, abstract, key words, author's introduction and other items of the thesis, please refer to the annotation format of this journal strictly, and translate the title, author's name, abstract and key words into English.
3. For the achievements of national and provincial scientific research fund projects, please indicate the name and number of the project, which is preferred under the same circumstances.

6. The review cycle of this journal is generally 3 months. If the manuscript is adopted or needs to be revised for review, the author will be notified within 3 months. If the information from the editorial department is not received within 3 months, it can be disposed by itself.
