Founded in 1999, Zhongbei College of Nanjing Normal University is jointly organized by Nanjing Normal University and Nanjing Normal University Education Development Foundation. It is one of the first independent colleges approved by the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China and one of the public interest institutions approved by Jiangsu Provincial Public Institution Registration Administration.

At present, the college has more than 9900 students, including Department of humanities, Department of foreign languages, Department of economy and management, Department of public management, Department of information science and technology, Department of engineering, Department of fine arts and Department of music, with a total of 8 departments and 39 undergraduate majors, covering economics, law, management, literature, science, engineering, art and other categories. The teaching staff of Zhongbei university consists of its own teachers, the teachers of Nanjing Normal University and the external teachers. Among the full-time teachers, 37.9% have the title of deputy senior or above, and 38.4% have the doctorate degree.
In order to meet the requirements of medium and long-term education reform and development planning in Jiangsu Province, and better serve the regional economic and social development, Nanjing Normal University and Danyang Municipal People's Government jointly built the Danyang campus of Zhongbei University in 2015, which is located at No.8 Zhengde Road, Danyang City, covering a total area of 900 mu, with a planned construction area of 387500 square meters and a total investment of about 3 billion yuan. Danyang campus has complete infrastructure, superior teaching and scientific research conditions. It is a university campus integrating intelligence, ecology, human culture and modernization.

Enrollment plan and professional requirements
In 2020, our college will recruit 650 "special transfer" students from 13 majors in three categories of literature and history, science and technology, and art. The enrollment plans and tuition standards of each major are shown in the table below:
Note: the above plan is subject to the announcement of Jiangsu Education Department and Jiangsu Education Examination Institute. Students' accommodation fee is 1500 yuan / academic year. Tuition and accommodation fee are charged according to the tuition standard approved by the price department.

Admission method
1. in accordance with the principle of "openness, fairness and justice", our college enrolls students from high scores to low scores according to the announced plan and candidates' wishes. The provincial education examination institute supervises the enrollment process.
2. Candidates who fail to meet the Enrollment Requirements of our college for their major and professional basic courses will not be admitted.
Transfer and Cultivation
1. The students of "transfer from college to university" shall go through the admission formalities with the materials such as the diploma of junior college and the admission notice of our college. Without the diploma, our college will not apply for enrollment and electronic enrollment.
2. The requirements for the physical condition of the candidates shall be implemented in accordance with the guidance on the work of physical examination for enrollment of general colleges and universities. After the enrollment of new students, our college shall carry out physical examination and reexamination in accordance with the national enrollment regulations within three months, and only after the reexamination is qualified can we register and obtain the student status. Anyone who falsifies in the physical examination or fails to report any serious illness will be disqualified as soon as it is verified.
3. After entering the University, the students of "transfer from college to university" will be transferred to the third year of undergraduate course in a unified way and will be arranged in separate classes. The teaching will be organized according to the full-time undergraduate teaching requirements of our college. The learning and living place is in Danyang Campus of North China College of Nanjing Normal University.
Student status management and employment
1. Students who have been admitted to "special transfer" shall not be transferred to other majors or schools.
Two In addition to those explicitly stipulated by the state and the province, the students of "transfer from major to major" enjoy the same treatment as the undergraduates of the same grade of the transferred major. Upon graduation, the diploma of North China College of Nanjing Normal University will be issued. The diploma will be filled in according to the provisions of the education administrative department. The starting and ending time of study will be filled in according to the actual time of entering the undergraduate course. The length of study will be filled in according to the years of study set by the undergraduate course.
