Among them, methyl monomer broke through the 10,000-ton production technology bottleneck, silicone construction sealants and structural adhesives have been widely promoted and applied, hot-vulcanized silicone rubber production technology has made significant progress, and the silicone rubber product processing industry has developed rapidly and has become The world's major supplier of key glue products. In terms of research and development capabilities, production technology and application fields, my country has also quickly shortened the gap with foreign advanced levels, and initially established a relatively complete system of China's organic silicon industrial system, which has laid a good foundation for its long-term development.　　
       In the new century, the world's organic silicon monomer production has accelerated its transfer to China. In 2004, Dow Corning of the United States and Wacker of Germany jointly built a 190,000 tons/year siloxane project in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu; China Bluestar Group acquired the silicone business of Rhodia of France in 2006, becoming the world's No. Four major silicone manufacturers; In 2007, Zhejiang Xin'an Group signed a joint venture agreement with Momentive Advanced Materials Group of the United States to jointly build a 100,000-ton/year silicone monomer project in Jiande, Zhejiang.

In the same month, Dongyue Silicone’s 300,000 tons/year organic silicon project started. This project is important for Dongyue Silicone’s entry into the top three in the country and the top five in the world, the establishment of the entire upstream and downstream industrial chain of organic silicon, and the creation of a world-class silicon advanced manufacturing base. significance. In December 2020, Xingfa and Lexus established a joint venture company to deploy the sealant industry. On July 5 this year, the joint venture company was formally established as the first domestic silicone sealant company integrating upstream and downstream.
