RTV generally includes two categories: condensation type and addition molding.

Rtv-1 rubber is one of the main products of condensed liquid silicone rubber. It is usually made of basic polymers, crosslinking agents, catalysts, fillers and additives. The product is packed in a sealed hose, extruded when used, and can be self-vulcanized into elastomer after contact with air, which is very convenient to use. Vulcanizates can be used in the temperature range (-60 ℃ ~ +200℃) for a long time, with excellent electrical insulation performance and chemical stability, water resistance, ozone resistance, climate aging resistance, a variety of metal and non-metal materials have good adhesion. Mainly used as the coating of various electronic components and electrical equipment, the sealing material plays the role of insulation, moistureproof and shockproof; As a surface protection material for semiconductor devices; It can also be used as sealing filler material and elastic adhesive.

Two-component RTV silicone rubber (referred to as RTV-2 rubber) is not convenient to use RTV-1 rubber, but its component proportion is rich in changes, a variety of vulcanized products can be obtained with a variety of specifications, but also can be deeply vulcanized, Therefore, it is widely used in electrical and electronic, automobile, machinery, construction, textile, chemical, light industry, printing and other industries as insulation, encapsulation, caulking, sealing, moisture-proof, anti-seismic and production of roller materials. In addition, because rTV-2 has excellent demoulding, as a soft mold material, it is widely used in the replication and manufacturing of cultural relics, handicrafts, toys, electronic appliances, mechanical parts and so on.
