Yuan Qirong, professor and doctoral director of School of physical science and technology of Nanjing Normal University, member of International Astronomical Union (IAU), director of China Astronomical Society and vice president of Jiangsu astronomical society, was employed as a member of the University astronomical teaching steering committee of the Ministry of education from 2018 to 2022. He has published more than 70 academic papers in professional journals at home and abroad, presided over NSFC projects for many times, and participated in national 973 projects and NSFC key projects as a core member for many times.

Nanjing Normal University is a national "double first-class" construction university and a high-level university in Jiangsu Province. In 1996, it entered the ranks of national "211 Project" universities, and in 2017, it was selected as national "double first-class" construction universities. Nanjing Normal University has always attached great importance to exchanges and cooperation with overseas countries and adhered to the international development strategy. The university is the first batch of open universities in China after the reform and opening up. It is the national demonstration base for studying in China, the teaching base for Chinese as a foreign language, the first batch of Chinese education bases and the early childhood education and training base in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. It has the Nanjing base of the international rural education research and training center of UNESCO, the French Culture Research Center, the Nanjing French training center, and Italy International research and teaching organizations such as cultural research center. With 16 universities such as the United States and the United Kingdom, we have held Sino foreign cooperative education and joint training programs, and 123 universities have overseas learning programs for students.
