On January 6, 2026, the Shenzhen Enterprise Investment Industry Research Institute released an in-depth research report on electronic specialty gases, pointing out that electronic specialty gases are a "bottleneck" link in China's integrated circuit industry, with high-end products relying on imports, but localization of some categories has achieved remarkable results.
The report shows that the domestic technology of high-purity boron trichloride has reached the international advanced level. Enterprises such as Dalian Kelide have realized the mass production of 5-7N grade, and the completed production capacity of key enterprises is expected to be 3,800 tons/year, but there is still a gap in the application of the integrated circuit field. The localization breakthrough of chlorine trifluoride is few, and only Fujian De'er Technology has realized large-scale production, supplying many chip leaders. The domestic substitution of electronic-grade sulfur hexafluoride and carbon tetrafluoride is advancing rapidly, and the production capacity of enterprises such as YaKe Technology and Haohua Technology has increased, but they are facing the risk of overcapacity.
At present, the domestic substitution of China's semiconductor industry is accelerating, the downstream demand space for electronic specialty gases is broad, and domestic enterprises are stepping up the layout of the supply side to promote the industry towards independent control.
