IOTA Comprehensively Upgrades Silicone Resin Product Portfolio to Deliver One-Stop Silicone Solutions

Hits: 373 img

IOTA is pleased to announce a comprehensive upgrade of its silicone resin product portfolio, covering more than ten major categories including polysilazanes, methylphenyl silicone resins, epoxy-modified silicone resins, acrylic-modified silicone resins, waterborne silicone resins, solvent-free silicone resins, MQ silicone resins, and high-temperature adhesives. These products provide systematic solutions for coatings, adhesives, composite materials, electronic encapsulation, cosmetics, and other fields.

Comprehensive Product Line Benchmarking Against Leading International Grades

The upgraded silicone resin series can be precisely matched with leading international grades from Dow, WACKER, Dow Corning, Momentive, and others, enabling customers to achieve seamless switching during domestic substitution while reducing supply chain risks and procurement costs.

The polysilazane series includes multiple grades such as IOTA 9150, 9150K, 9150A, 9970, 9108, 9118, 9283, and PHPS, meeting diverse requirements for curing speed and temperature resistance. The methylphenyl silicone resin series (IOTA 6056, 6153, 6053G, etc.) is widely applicable in high-temperature coatings and insulation materials. Epoxy-modified silicone resins (E30, E25, E60) and acrylic-modified silicone resins (6046, 6146, 6146A) offer excellent adhesion and weatherability for industrial coatings.

Continued Push Towards Sustainability with Waterborne and Solvent-Free Solutions

In response to the trend of green manufacturing, IOTA continues to advance its waterborne and solvent-free silicone resin offerings. The waterborne silicone resin series (IOTA 6861–6865, 68604) meets low-VOC emission requirements and is suitable for eco-friendly industrial coatings and surface treatments. The solvent-free silicone resin series (IOTA 61000, 61037, 61038) provides reliable options for high-solid, zero-emission application scenarios.

High-Temperature Adhesives Pushing Boundaries — Up to 1800°C

A key highlight of this product upgrade is the high-temperature adhesive series, which encompasses both room-temperature curing and heat-curing technology routes, with temperature resistance ranging from 400°C to 1800°C. These products are widely applicable in aerospace, automotive engines, industrial furnaces, electronic components, and other extreme operating environments.

Notably, the room-temperature curing high-temperature putty IOTA R31800 offers temperature resistance up to 1800°C, suitable for sealing gaps in composites, metals, and ceramics. The heat-curing silicon boron carbonitride adhesive IOTA H21400 withstands 1300–1500°C, the polycarbosilane adhesive IOTA H21500 exceeds 1500°C, and the polycarbosilane adhesive IOTA H21600 reaches 1600°C — representing industry-leading performance.

In addition, the fast-curing series (e.g., IOTA R3800F, 1-hour room-temperature curing, 600–800°C resistance) meets on-site requirements for rapid sealing of metal components and quick repair of composite parts, significantly improving construction efficiency.
