Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR): Liquid silicone rubber is relative to solid high-temperature vulcanized silicone rubber. It is a liquid before curing and an elastomer after curing.

LSR is usually composed of base rubber (polymethylvinylsiloxane raw rubber) and crosslinking agent (polymethylhydrogensiloxane), in the catalyst (transition metal complex, such as platinum, nickel, rhodium, etc.) Under the action of the addition reaction, an elastomer with a network structure is formed.

According to different uses, other fillers can be added, such as vapor phase or precipitation white carbon black, iron oxide, titanium dioxide and carbon black. In order to prepare transparent LSR, silicone resin can also be added as a filler.

Two components: A component (including platinum catalyst) and B component (including crosslinking agent)
