Due to the introduction of phenyl, it is significantly better than methyl silicone resin in terms of thermal elasticity, adhesiveness and compatibility with organic and inorganic fillers, but it also has disadvantages such as high curing temperature and easy re-sticking at high temperatures. It is mostly prepared by mixing methylchlorosilane and phenylchlorosilane as raw materials and hydrolyzing in toluene or xylene. It is widely used as high temperature resistant electrical insulating paint, high temperature resistant coating and high temperature resistant adhesive. It is currently the largest and most widely used variety in silicone resin.
