Standard setting background
During the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" period, China's green manufacturing moved from concept promotion, preliminary research and policy formulation to project implementation. The green supply chain integrates the concepts of environmental protection, resource conservation, and health and safety throughout the entire process of the company from product design to raw material procurement, production, transportation, storage, sales, use, and disposal. It is an important content and core link of green manufacturing.
In order to support the implementation of the green manufacturing project of the Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Green Manufacturing Technology Standardization Technical Committee completed my country’s first national green supply chain management standard GB/T 33635-2017 "Green Manufacturing Enterprise Green Research and formulation of "Supply Chain Management Guidelines".
Green supply chain is a systematic project, involving many subjects, wide scope and strong policy. It is difficult for companies to build a green supply chain management system. In 2017, under the principles and framework of the national standards for green supply chain management guidelines, 2018 The Green Manufacturing Standards Committee organized the Five Electronics Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Shanghai Jiaotong University and other units to carry out the research and formulation of five national green supply chain management standards for the key links and key tasks of green supply chain management for manufacturing enterprises, four of which are 2020 It was officially released in September 2015 (another national standard for recycling management is under study and formulation).
