First, there are obvious differences in chemical structure between organosilicon and inorganic silicon. Organosilicon is a polymer material composed of silicon and elements such as carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen, while inorganic silicon mainly refers to inorganic compounds formed by silicon and oxygen, such as silicon dioxide (SiO2). The carbon-based structure of organosilicon gives it elasticity and plasticity, making it more flexible in application. Due to the molecular structure characteristics of organosilicon, that is, the bond energy of Si-O bond (444J/mol) is higher than that of C-C bond (339J/mol), the heat resistance of organosilicon materials is higher than that of general organic polymer compounds.
