Linear is a low viscosity straight chain hydroxyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane.

Low molecular weight siloxane formed by polymerization of cyclic body, mainly used as raw material for amino silicone oil and modified silicone oil. Linear body for amino silicone oil is a low molecular weight polydimethylsiloxane terminated with silanol, which is a low viscosity hydroxy silicone oil. It is widely used in the production of amino silicone oil, and its single-pass conversion rate can reach more than 99%.

Applications
● Linear bodies react with themselves or with reactive alkoxysilanes;
● Raw material for the production of amino silicone oil. Containing active hydroxyl groups, amino silicone oil obtained by condensation with aminosilanes such as aminoethylaminopropyltrimethoxysilane and aminoethylaminopropylmethyldimethoxysilane can better produce directional adsorption with hydroxyl groups on the surface of fabrics, significantly reduce the friction coefficient between fibers, and can give various fabrics good softness and smoothness, and improve their washability;
● Structuring control agent for methyl vinyl silicone rubber, can also be used as paper anti-adhesive agent
