At a critical turning point of global supply-demand restructuring and value reshaping, the global silicone industry has seen China account for over 70% of global capacity, transitioning from disorderly competition to a new stage of collaborative self-discipline. To build a communication platform for the Asian silicone industry and address core challenges such as capacity balance, technological upgrading, and market expansion, the 2026 (2nd) Asian Silicone Technology Exchange Conference is scheduled to be held at Suzhou Shishan International Conference Center from April 13 to 15. With the theme "Wisdom Gathers in Asia, Silicone Shapes the Future", the conference is hosted by Beijing Advanced Chemical Materials Institution (ACMI) and other organizations. Featuring simultaneous interpretation in Chinese and English, it is expected to gather 150 industry elites from across Asia. The event sets two core themes: exploring macro trends including supply chain resilience amid geopolitics and carbon neutrality pathways, as well as focusing on technological frontiers such as high-performance new materials, green processes, and smart responsive materials, covering high-demand application areas like new energy vehicles, photovoltaic packaging, medical health, and smart wearables. Notably, participants can freely attend concurrent events including the 2026 Asia Silicon Technology Conference and Fair, and the National Catalysis and Catalyst Expo, facilitating close interactions with international merchants. The conference also includes keynote speeches, thematic forums, and guest visits to exhibitions. Academicians, industry experts, and leaders of leading enterprises will gather to interpret policy orientations, share technological achievements, and analyze market prospects. Registration is now open, with preferential rates available for sign-ups before March 15, and an additional 20% discount for registrations before February 15. This grand event will establish an integrated platform for industry-academia-research-application collaboration, helping enterprises seize emerging market opportunities, promote the high-quality development of the silicone industry, and inject new momentum into the collaborative innovation of the Asian silicone industry.
