On December 18, 2025, the Green Development Alliance of the Silicon Industry and Guohua New Materials officially announced the core activities for the silicon materials industry in 2026. Nearly 20 professional conferences, technical training sessions, and business study tours will be held throughout the year, covering key areas such as silicone, silicon-based new materials, and semiconductor silicon materials, providing a comprehensive platform for technology exchange, market connection, and international cooperation. The events will span the entire year of 2026 and cover regions including Europe, Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and multiple cities in China such as Guangzhou, Suzhou, and Shanghai. In March, events will kick off with the JEC Composites Show in France and the European business study tour, along with the modified silicone oil and secondary processing product production and application training course. The former focuses on international cutting-edge composite technology exchanges, while the latter emphasizes practical skill enhancement. In April, Suzhou will host the 28th Silicone Fine Chemicals Technology Exchange Conference, along with several specialized exhibitions such as the Asia Silicon Industry Technology Conference, showcasing innovations in fields such as catalytic technology and high-purity quartz materials. In June, the Southeast Asia business study tour and the Quzhou silicone instrument analysis practical training course will proceed simultaneously, balancing international market expansion with professional talent development. In July, the China International Coatings Expo in Shanghai, and in August, the 17th Basic Silicone Training Course in Wuhan, will continue to empower the upstream and downstream of the industry chain. In the second half of the year, the September Taiwan Semiconductor Expo business study tour will deepen cross-strait silicon-based semiconductor industry cooperation, while the November 4th Silicon-Based Aerogel Summit Forum in Guangzhou and December Silicone Oil Practical Skills Training Course in Wuhan will conclude the industry’s annual development. According to sources, the series of events are co-hosted by organizations such as ACM and SAGSI, featuring four main sections: technology exchange, product exhibition, practical training, and business study tours, covering the entire chain of needs from basic research and development to industrial applications. Relevant persons in charge stated that the events will focus on industry hotspots such as green and low-carbon development and high-end manufacturing, helping enterprises grasp market trends. Currently, event registration channels are open on both the Silicon Industry Green Development Alliance website (www.chinasilicon.com) and the Guohua New Materials website (www.acmi.org.cn), and industry professionals can contact designated officers for more details.
