On December 16, 2025, the Zhuhai Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment issued a pre-approval public notice, intending to approve the environmental impact assessment document for the Phase VI expansion project of Changxing Specialty Materials (Zhuhai) Co., Ltd. With a total investment of 27.6 million yuan, the project is located in the Gaolan Port Economic Zone of Zhuhai, Guangdong. Upon completion, it will form an annual production capacity of 2,600 tons of silicone series products, further improving the enterprise's product matrix of high-performance new materials. It is reported that the expansion project will construct 6 production lines in the reserved area of the existing factory, focusing on the production of 2,000 tons/year of silicone microspheres (PSQ), 200 tons/year of silicone resin (MQ), 200 tons/year of silicone adhesion promoters, as well as 100 tons/year of silicone gel and 100 tons/year of elastic microspheres. Meanwhile, it will support the production of auxiliary materials such as sodium acrylate solution and methanol solution. The project is specially equipped with hazardous waste reduction equipment and PSQ quality improvement public auxiliary systems. All main equipment and pipelines adopt metal materials, covering the entire production process including reaction, separation, drying and packaging, to ensure environmental compliance and stable product quality.
