    It is reported that the main causes include insufficient effective plasticization time, inadequate total amount or excessive volatilization of film-forming aids, and substandard construction temperature and humidity. Emergency treatment can be achieved by supplementing film-forming aids to a safe ratio, forcibly increasing the temperature of the environment and substrates, and controlling humidity. Long-term solutions involve using high-efficiency aid substitutes, three-stage compound aid systems, replacing emulsions with low MFFT, and optimizing construction processes, which can significantly reduce aid dosage.
    Laboratory verification shows that determining the optimal aid dosage through gradient testing ensures the coating does not crack and meets water resistance standards in low-temperature environments. This solution has been applied in practice in many regions, effectively solving the pain points of winter water-based paint construction.
